Swing, swing, swing from the tangles of
My heart is crushed by a former love
Can you help me find a way to carry on again?
Taunton Boarding School
You thought your problems were gone...[/center]
Taunton Boarding School is one of the most highly respected schools in America. The school was founded in 1872 and for centuries the school and it's pupils excelled in everything. Taunton was always known for maintaining a high standard of education, with it's pupils passing with straight A's in all of their exams and the students excelled in the extra-curricular activities the school had to offer.
Taunton was a one of a kind, no other school in the district taught students who loved to learn and worked to the best of their ability. Staff would have killed for a job in the boarding school and those who managed to get a job, loved every second of teaching. This magnificent era of Taunton quickly disappeared when the 21st Century appeared.
The new students who entered the school didn't take well to discipline and following orders, unlike the previous years. The staff were forced to toughen up on their students in order to get them back into line, but the students merely refused to listen. As the years went on, the behaviour of the students grew from unruly to horrific and many of the staff quit their jobs as they weren't able to cope with the youths.
In the present year, the students are officially out of control. The school was recently restored as the majority of it was burnt in an unexpected fire where foul play was heavily suspected. Although the school polished up, the attitudes of the pupils are still the same, even with new students attending. The pupils have arranged themselves into even more different 'cliques' in search of 'individuality' and acceptance from their peers.
Since the students choose not to listen to any authoritive figure, they've taken over the school. Instead of being forced to stay in school grounds all of the time, the youths often visit the town on weekdays and weekends. The students have also found ways of bringing drugs and alcohol into the school grounds and the staff are too afraid of the violent youths to do anything about it.
The staff are afraid of the students. The students are going insane with power. The seperated cliques are constantly fighting with one another. The old Taunton doesn't exist anymore, it's changed completely and that's not a good thing. Can anything be done to calm these teenagers down?
Taunton Boarding School: It's just a whole bucket of dramatic fun.
